The 2022 accreditation standards are here! Sign up now for the accreditation workshop to be held on Oct 24th and 25th 2022 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Designed to prepare you to write a self-study, host a site visit, and/ or help to get your program in compliance with the new standards, we're here to help! This is an interactive workshop designed to help program directors, faculty and administrators understand and navigate the ACEND* accreditation process. Participants will have the opportunity to network and problem-solve with their peers in an interactive format. We will help you interpret the 2022 accreditation standards and translate that information into a meaningful plan for your program. Solutions to streamline the data collection process are also included.

Attendees will walk away with the knowledge and confidence to complete a successful accreditation review!

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
  • Identify how the dietetic education program is integrated into the administrative structure of the sponsoring organization.
  • List the requirements to be a program director.
  • Write a program goal that is consistent with the program’s mission.
  • Develop a program specific objective.
  • Identify learning activities that serve as evidence of knowledge/competency attainment.
  • Develop a plan for student assessment and curriculum improvement.
  • Develop a continuous program improvement plan.
  • List the information that must be provided to prospective interns.
  • Identify methods to meet current accreditation standards.
  • Develop strategies for streamlined data collection.
  • Prepare for a successful accreditation site visit.
  • Develop a pass rate improvement plan.
